It's always a hard balance :) I posted one piece from a different angle and realized that most people hadn't realized the weaving on the side of one of my styles. Ooops. Back to the drawing board.

For a first attempt, this is really incredible! I love the colors and the texture of the piece. There's so much great detail and at the same time it's too overpowering and distracting.

Thank you) There sure is this tendency in my pieces to be overly detailed; maybe there's a possibility in viewing it as the artist's hallmark ;P
